Anna Cappello is an award winning director, writer, creative director, photographer, and producer. She is originally from Los Angeles and currently resides in New York City.
Anna studied at the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a major in Film and TV Production. She also earned a minor in the Thorton School of Music for Music Industry.
Her skillset includes, but is not limited to directing, writing, creative direction, creative consulting, photography, and graphic design. She has a background in production design and styling adding to her unique understanding of multiple mediums.
Clients include: Fontaines DC, The Wildmans, Royel Otis, Loro Piana, Ralph Lauren, Interview Magazine, Sid Simons, Rose Paradise, Telescreens, Ava Maybee, Kidbloom, Alicia Keys, NoteMarcato, Liza Owens, NomBe, etc.
Her short film Ropeswing was an official selection in the Oscar-Qualifying Aspen Shorts Festival in 2025. She has written 2 feature films and 6 short films. 2 short films, Hidden Keys and Intermission have won and been involved in 15 festivals combined. In 2024 she executive produced a short film in Sydney, Australia alongside Milly Alcock, which is set to release in Spring of 2026.
She worked in creative feature film development at Legendary Entertainment under Mary Parent. She assisted and mentored under the director, Loni Peristere on American Horror Stories.
